A relentless fight, a link with historical time through her cultural manifestations adding some opportunities to be enriched and to enrich others are some of the reasons which encourage and inspire to this renowned designer and sculptor.

Roxana Rivero, who comes from the pool of “Corriente Alterna” and concerning her lively personality, was lucky to meet three skillful women during a research trip to The Mantaro Valley where, like her, share arts, the construction and recovery of myths and pre-Columbian fantasies.

It is necessary to highlight the use of matt in the decorative, plastic and practical area which is the main characteristic on this new artistic conception.

Therefore, the artists emphasize the magical spirit of the “aji” (chili) considered by the Andean inhabitants from beginnings as a sacred plant. Besides, the “uchu” (chili) was used to represent the teaching from first governors. This amazing plant is grown since 2500 BC., even though its consume dates back from 7000 BC.
